Where your Jeans to Work! Friday 7th October
Its that time of the year again, where we could have a chance to wear our jeans to work or school and its not too late to organise it to raise money for an amazing cause.
Jeans for Genes raises money for Genetic disorders. Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK – that’s more than 30,000 babies each year. Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest killer of children aged 14 years and under.
Each year the money raised helps to fund research into genetics and the development of effective treatments and cures.
Jenes for Genes has a number of celebrity supporters including Christine Bleakley, Amanda Holden, Jodie Kidd, Parade, Gail Porter, Zoe Ball, Kelly Osbourne plus many more.
As always Jeans for Genes celebrated their launch party for 2011 in style at Kettners in Soho where girlband Parade performed for the crowd which included Kelis, Michelle Heaton and many others.
Nail brand Nail Rock treated guests to mini manicures before applying denim designed nail wraps which looked awesome.
Sponsors included Nokia, Biscuiteers, Nail Rock and St Tropez.
